What we do

Assessments can be undertaken for many reasons. The most common of these are:

• Delayed Language Development
• Delayed Speech Development
• NDIS functional assessment information
• Goal setting
• Communication rehabilitation following brain injury or stroke
• Alternative communication options
• Voice disorders
• Stuttering
• NDIS review
• Literacy difficulties

Therapy is designed on a case by case basis. It is individualised and dynamic, meaning that it changes as you progress to match your progress and challenge you to a level that will make a difference to you. Therapy may include:

• parent/carer training
• individual sessions
• group sessions
• sessions in the clinic, at school or in your home
• as you progress, you may find your therapy is out in the community developing your functional capacity in the environment you choose you live and thrive
• teacher professional development (includes team coaches for sports)
• homework tasks

Suncoast Speech Pathology is excited to continue a fabulous partnership with Immanuel Lutheran College this year and we are enjoying providing services to the College for the benefit of the students, teachers and families at ILC.

Suncoast Speech Pathology is excited to announce another year of rural outreach service to the Queensland town of Murgon. We enjoy working with the Murgon community and surrounding communities in our fortnightly outreach visits.
